Magazines

Tom's Train Station stocks a wide range of model railroad and prototype magazines (click here for list), which we receive according to the magazine's publishing schedule. If you would like us to hold a specific magazine(s) for you, let us know.

N Scale

Tom's Train Station orders new releases as they are announced by the manufacturers. Many manufacturers, some listed below, provide new product announcements via email. You can sign up for these email notices at the manufacturer's web sites. The email announcement will list the new products, with links to photos, specs and roadnames, with expected availability. Let us know what you want and we will reserve for you.

Micro-Trains Line lists their monthly new products on their web site (www.micro-trains.com) late in the afternoon on the last business day of each month. We order on the first business day of the month. If you desire one of the new releases let us know as soon as you can after MTL posts the new releases to be sure you get what you want. New releases normally arrive from MTL around the 12th day of the month, but can be later when there is an early holiday.

Other Manufacturers We order new releases as they are announced by the various manufacturers. These are listed in the model railroad magazines and on the manufacturer's web sites. Let us know what you want and we will reserve for you.

HO Scale

Tom's Train Station orders new releases as they are announced by the manufacturers. Many manufacturers, some listed below, provide new product announcements via email. O Gauge

The two major O gauge manufacturers release catalog twice a year, normally in February and August. Tom's Train Station orders and stocks these catalogs when they are released for sale in our store. Up-to-date information on the catalog release dates, as well as the catalogs themselves, can be viewed on the web sites of the two manufacturers. As well as Lionel and MTH, Tom's Train Station also stocks Williams products. Williams was recently purchased by Bachmann Trains and is now a Division of Bachmann. Information on Williams products can be found on the Bachmann web site at www.bachmanntrains.com.

Tom's Train Station places orders based on the contents of each catalog from Lionel and MTH. However, if there is a specific item you desire from one of these catalogs please let us know; this needs to be done within about two weeks of the release of each catalog.

Large Scale

A prime supplier of large scale trains is LGB, but due to bankruptcy little has been available from LGB for almost two years. LGB was purchased by Marklin in late 2006, and shipment of North American prototype model trains are starting again. Other prime suppliers of large scale trains are Aristo-Craft and USA Trains. Check with the manufacturer web sites, then let us know your needs and we will order for you.

All Scales

Tom's Train Station carries many products suitable for use with any scale, including scenery, scratchbuilding and power products. New products from these suppliers are stocked as they are released.
